It’s Saturday at the Echo Lake Farm! Gloria wanted to go out on a little adventure and so we bundled her all up and took her outside to see Bondi and Buddy (her favorite furry pals). She was delighted to see everyone who showed up today that included Gail & Loren Wegener (Glo’s Sister and Brother-in-law), Angela (Glo’s neice), Maiya (Glo’s great neice), Jeannie and Dale Schwartz (Angela’s mother and father-in-law)! Of course Lindsay, Brad, Krista, Jeren and Jack are all here too, so the fun was pretty exhausting for her. Kylin and Andrew will be joining us all on Thursday as well, but they got to talk to Grandma Gloria via FaceTime this afternoon.
Glo’s spirits are high and she is so grateful for all of the love and support all of her friends and family are pouring in. You all are quite amazing! She is enjoying eating everything that are her favorites that so many of you have brought to her. From JoAnn’s fruitcake cookies, to Aggie’s delicious chinese food, to Loren’s awesome soup her tummy is full and her heart is even fuller!
If you have any stories or photos you’d like to share, click on the tab for Share a Story and follow the fabulous instructions Krista has made! And if you have any troubles, give us a shout. Our emails are there too! We love you all and are so enjoying these little adventures with Gloria at the center of it all!

As for Sunday at the Echo Lake Farm, we have enjoyed our entire day making food, hanging out, and helping Gloria have a wonderful day. Highlights included Jeren and Rylee made a very special fruit cake just for Grammee. Jo and Fred came over and brought some Cougar Gold cheese along with a pineapple upside down cake–the best foods ever for the Buccaneers football game!
Gloria is feeling tired, but still gets around to go to the bathroom several times a day. She is loving being Queen Bee, and she still finds reasons to say “Shit Jack!” So some things will always be the same. ;-). She sends lots of love to all of you. Keep the stories and pictures coming. She is loving the stories and images she hasn’t seen in a long time.

Today was a stellar day! We had yummy food. We had cookies from Lori – YES! We had flowers delivered. We had Coke Zero in a big glass with ice.
Lindsay gave me a hot shower – the first one I’ve had in 10 or 11 days. It was GLORIOUS!
More wonderful moments tomorrow!
Good night!

Good morning dear friends and family members and “besties” of Glo!! It’s a new day and Jack, Brad, Krista, Desi, Bondi, Rye, Buddy, and I are all watching an icy lake and rejoicing in and honoring my mom – being grateful for all the joy and fun she brought to this world!
Today we are putting away all of the Christmas stuff and clearing a room for Gloria’s new “get better” bed. Brad will go see her in the hospital today on his way back home. (They allow only one visitor per day which sucks.)
We appreciate all your love, kindness, and fond memories too! Be well and hug your beloveds!
