We met Jack & Gloria while waiting in line at the commissary at Puget Sound Naval base, Bremerton, WA in early October 1966.

I’ve known Gloria literally since I was born...

It really was about fun and games with goats!

Jack & Gloria were always the life of the party & we had a few back in the day!

Echo Lake Farm, Jack and Gloria’s residence is a kid’s paradise.

Gloria, I shall always think of you as one who inspired and stepped forward to quietly lead and make your voice and smile known within the Echo Lake Community.

Hanging out with the Kountz clan has always been an adventure packed with fun warmth and love.

Here are a couple of my memories of the times we were together.  I have photos, too, but they’re all in Minnesota, so we’ll have to try to picture these in our heads.

We are lucky to have such great neighbors in Gloria & Jack.

Once about 4 years ago when talking to Gloria and Jack, Gloria asked “Have you heard about the Goat Olympics?”

Cousin Gloria, you are the Queen Of Sociability. When Shula and I asked if we could stop by for a visit during August of 2016, we never expected an Ambassadors Welcome.

We were on the school council together and had some good times at other schools and meetings.

The Carribbean, Guatamala, and Ecuador are just a few of the places we visited and loved...

Gloria has been a member of the Community Group even before we formed a formal group.

It all began in September of 1964 when I was paired with Gloria Carlson as my freshman roommate at UC Berkeley.

My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with you and your family.

One of my favorite times with Gloria, Jack and Jeanne was on our trip to Yellow Stone Park and Jackson Hole.
