We met Jack & Gloria while waiting in line at the commissary at Puget Sound Naval base, Bremerton, WA in early October 1966. I was 8 1/2 months pregnant & they had a 4-month-old baby, Lindsay with them. We talked babies. When we got home lo & behold they were also getting home – across the street from us!
Thus began a 55+ year friendship. We three Californians & a Minnesotan all chose to make the PNW our home & our lives have connected in so many ways over the years. I consider their friendship one of our life’s best blessings!
